脚手架是为了保证各施工过程顺利进行而搭设的工作平台。按搭设的位置分为外脚手架、里脚手架；按材料不同可分为木脚手架、竹脚手架、钢管脚手架；按构造形式分为立杆式脚手架、桥式脚手架、门式脚手架、悬吊式脚手架、挂式脚手架、挑式脚手架、爬式脚手架。

钢跳板是建筑行业施工用具的一种。一般可以称为钢制脚手板，建筑钢跳板，钢踏板，镀锌钢跳板，热镀锌钢踏板，深受广大造船业，石油平台、电力、建筑业的被推广使用。钢跳板开有M18螺栓孔，用于板与板连接，调节平台底部宽度。钢跳板与钢跳板之间，使用高度为180mm踢脚板，踢脚板涂黑黄相间的油漆，在各自的3个孔洞中用螺丝固定踢脚板。这样钢跳板与钢跳板之间就可固定连接了。连接完成后，应严格对制作平台的材料进行验收把关，平台制作完成后，进行试验。安装完成，经验收合格挂牌，方可投入使用。

Steel springboard is one of the construction tools in the construction industry. The steel springboard is provided with M18 bolt holes for connecting plates and adjusting the width of the platform bottom. A 180mm high skirting board is used between the steel springboard and the steel springboard. 

在一些施工的地方，比较高，一般的梯子也不方便，所以就会有一种脚手架搭建在施工地，这样就相对稳定一些，施工的工人可以移动的范围广，也安全一些。但为了让这种脚手架移动方便，转弯也方便，所以就会有开始有人想办法在这些脚手架底部安装上脚轮，而这些脚轮就叫做脚手架脚轮。
