5月29日，江津区召开城市管理联席会议，进一步规范城市道路挖掘，推进全区井盖改造工作。全区相关镇、部门、管道单位、重点项目建设单位、施工单位负责人参加了会议。
据了解，城市道路挖掘和井盖改造工作关系到广大市民的生命安全，不能马虎。本次联席会议在充分听取与会单位对全区城市道路挖掘和井盖改造的意见和建议后，要求各相关单位强化规范意识、安全意识和大局意识，明确责任，落实“谁施工、谁负责、谁承接、谁负责”制度，加强部门协调联动。各有关单位要相互配合，齐抓共管，形成强大的工作合力，切实抓好围挡的设置和责任。同时，将建立“内部通报、媒体曝光、群众监督”三项机制，加强对城市道路挖掘和井盖整改的监管-四川井盖
「目前，市区有八条道路正在或即将挖掘。比如旧自来水网改造，污水管网改造，轻轨线进入几条河道区域，必然会开挖城市道路，也会对市民生活造成一定影响。“据江津区城管局相关负责人介绍，本次联席会议旨在最大限度减少城市道路挖掘造成的交通堵塞、扰民和扬尘污染，进一步规范审批制度、围挡设置和施工现场管理。
同时，跟进前期全区完成的405个井盖整治任务，按照“一路一档、一盖一号、一井一档”的要求，对照标准、对照表格，继续努力确保人民群众“脚下安全”，努力营造“干净、有序、舒适”的城市环境，不断增强市民的获得感、幸福感、安全感。
