株洲日报讯(全媒体记者/吴静雯)从6月8日下午3点开始，市区暴雨不断，导致多个路段积水严重，交通堵塞。王家屏立交桥下最深的水有50厘米，许多涉水车辆被淹没。
下雨就是命令。市城管局局长刘伟赶赴现场指挥调度，市政工程养护中心全员出动，兵分多路，在各个易积水点处置突发情况。
下午4时，株洲西站进站口沿线积水深达15厘米，市政部门出动“龙吸水”设备快速处置。不到一个小时，沿线积水顺利恢复。在王家屏立交桥下，市政应急小组成员站在齐膝深的水中打开井盖，加快积水的排水速度，并用手清除堵塞排水的杂物。下午6点，随着水位的下降，这里的道路交通恢复畅通。
暴雨期间，该市城管部门出动120余名应急队员，完成了株洲大道祥云路桥下、祥云路与衡山路交叉口、天一大道大石桥等15处严重积水点的应急处理。现场无人受伤。
雨后环卫部门接力道路清扫保障，市政部门对各积水点情况进行进一步排查，做好雨后清淤、巡查、抢修工作。
